Training

Training is a core focus of the EFIA. The need to produce an independent training vehicle that facilitates learning and development of members, employees and clients is key to the long term success of Flexography.

The focus of EFIA in 2012 is the launch of the new Continuous Professional Development Training platform known as Academy 2. The Academy has been restructured to become the Association's vehicle to deliver education to the membership in both modular and a hands on form, with the backing of the Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating. The entire e-learning system has been developed with EFIA's technology partners Learning Aid and is now delivered as a full education programme leading to a Certificate or Diploma if students complete entire courses. Low cost modular sections are available too for the entire print from brand owners to reprographic houses to pack designers to print industry suppliers.

Complementary Flexo Simulator Hands On Training
To complement the e-learning solution, EFIA can also now provide hands on training on a flexo press simulator testing students' capabilities in a range of press scenarios and pack print issues.

Training Publications
EFIA provides a range of publications to help companies understand the Flexo Process and how to improve performance.

Fault Finding.
The Fault Finding Poster  is available along with a 44 page hand book, these identify, with photographs, many common faults and the possible causes and remedies. Both these items can be purchased direct from EFIA.
