Mission Statement
The Mission of the EFIA is to be considered as a natural extension of the member company. For expert advice we are just a click of your mouse or a telephone call away.

Who are we?
We were founded in 1972 by a group of printers to act as the unified voice of the flexo printing industry, to share information, develop awareness of the capability and value of Flexography across print providers, retail groups and brand owners. The association has established an active programme of training, seminars, conferences and exhibitions to further the needs of its members.  Today the EFIA board drives the day to day activities for members from across Europe whether they are printers, designers, repro houses, platemakers, machinery suppliers, ink manufacturers or technology companies.

What do we do?
We promote the industry through a publicity and marketing programme aimed at users and influencers to promote the overall value and application of flexography. We run an annual print awards competition culminating in an Annual Awards Dinner each Spring; recognising excellence in flexography from best student to best in show printing. We continuously develop unrivalled training opportunities on all aspects of the Flexographic process, Lean Manufacturing and Waste Minimisation.
